With 400,000 visitors per year (3.2 million “hits!) on our Internet web site, and with a mailing list of over 450 naturist activists across California, SCNA is the perfect place to promote your nudist-friendly product, activity, or resort!

SCNA WEB SITE

  • Of the 415,000 visitors in 2007 (3,193,000 page “hits”) 80% of visitors reside in the United States; 90% use MS Internet Explorer as their browser. A full summary of web statistics from UrchinTM, an online metrics service, is available upon request.

  • Your ad and link will appear in the four most-viewed sections: the monthly Calendar of activities, the members'Newsletter, and the Naturist Review index page. Plus a link to your own product or web site on the main home page!

  • SCNA was awarded Best Nudist Club Web Site by the American Association for Nude Recreation in 2005 and by the AANR-Western Region, 2004, 2005, and 2007.


SCNA NEWSLETTER

  • Monthly circulation in 2008 is 450/month via printed or email to SCNA members and paid subscribers. An additional 100 copies are mailed to “hard core” nudist members and club activists located across California. Additional copies are distributed to Sociology, Psychology, Art, and Women’s Studies departments at local universities and colleges for their faculty and students.

  • Age range of paid subscribers is 25-63 years in age (average age is 52.)

  • Approximately 40% of the readership is couples or families, 70% of the remaining are single men.

  • SCNA was awarded Best Club Newsletter by the American Association for Nude Recreation in 2005 and 2006. The newsletter was also awarded Best Club Newsletter by the AANR-Western Region in 2004, 2005, and 2007.


SCNA NATURIST REVIEW MAGAZINE

  • This free, on-line publication began in April 2005 as twenty pages of monthly features and news of interest to the naturist community. The magazine is now published quarterly and is available for downloading in PDF-format.

  • Advertising is no longer included inside each monthly issue, but your ad is displayed on the NR Home page containing the index and summaries of each issue (which is the most-often visited part of the NR site and is where people download the monthly issues.)

  • An average of 3,200 copies are downloaded from the web site every month. Gender and age breakdown not available but we suspect the average age is 45 and 65-70% are men.

  • Several hundred cell phone users download articles from NR each month.

Advertising Guidelines

  • We accept photo-ready “business-card” or “double business-card” size only. We define “photo-ready” as being in either (a) printed on glossy or flat paper or (b) an electronic file in TIFF, GIF or JPG format, saved in the actual size required at 300dpi (min.) to 720dpi (max.) Submitted advertising copy is not returnable.

  • Ads will appear in color on the web site and in the PDF-formatted electronic versions of the NR Magazine and Newsletter. The printed (“hard copy”) versions mailed to our subscribers will be in black and white.

  • Ad location will be at the discretion of the editor (front page not available.)

  • SCNA will retain the right to refuse ads from individuals and businesses that do not meet the vision of the organization.

  • “Personal” or “Classified” ads (up to 30 words) are accepted from SCNA members only.

  • All ads must be pre-paid. Your payment can be made by cash, money order, check (payable to SCNA) or by credit card (MasterCard or VISA only). If credit card, please do not send us your card info via email, we will call you back to confirm the necessary information.

Where/How to Send Your Ad Copy

The SCNA Newsletter is published the first Saturday of every month. The Naturist Review is published the second weekend of every quarter.

Ad Submission deadline is the 25th day of the month preceding publication. You may submit your ad one of two ways:
