Our vision is to create or provide access to clothing-optional environments where the unclothed human body is celebrated, where human sensuality is accepted, and where personal choice is respected.

We seek to promote and encourage clothing-optional recreation, education and personal growth throughout Southern California.

SCNA members reside in communities from Santa Maria to San Diego, although most live in the Los Angeles basin. This list includes singles, couples, families, and students.

How we do it
We are governed by a seven-person Board of Directors, elected annually by the members.

We practice inclusion, not exclusion. We include men and women of all ages and all shapes and sizes who are age 18+, single or with families, including same-sex partners. We do not discriminate against body jewelry.

We also have a strong set of behavior guidelines and a screening process so that our members may enjoy a private, safe and protected environment. Members are held accountable for the actions of their guests.

Some may choose to practice a wide variety of lifestyles in the privacy of their own homes but as members, all agree to abide by our behavior guidelines at our sponsored events and activities.

We are also completely clothing optional. This makes us different from many of the older landed resorts, which often require nudity.

How Do I Join?

First, you need to complete an Application Form! Request one from our SCNA office via phone or email, or else download one from our website. Annual dues are $75 for singles and $100 for two-person couples/partners with a single mailing address. checks are payable to SCNA. There is an additional $25 processing fee for first-time applicants.

All aplicants are interviewed, and if approved, given an "Introductory Status" for six months, after which a Regular "Participatory Staus" card is issued.
